About
Steven Kahn
LCSW, MSW, MIOP
I work with individuals and couples who look put-together on the outside but are often running on empty underneath - professionals facing burnout and career stress and partners caught in conflict, unsure how to reconnect in a healthy way. Clients come to me burdened with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or communication struggles that they have not been able to resolve. Together we get specific and collaborative: truly understanding what's driving the stress and building real skills - boundaries, self-regulation, distress tolerance - so you leave with tools and insight for a better you.
My Approach
I use a blended CBT, DBT, and ACT approach, tailored to you rather than a one-size-fits-all script. For individuals: anxiety, depression, burnout, career stress, maladaptive behaviors, finding self, and addictions. For couples: communication breakdown, conflict patterns, and reconnection. I focus also on physical health, which is integrally linked to mental health.
